Garden Plain State Bank offers many different terms, conditions and rates on our Certificates of Deposit. A Certificate of Deposit may be opened with a minimum of $1,000.00. Interest on terms of six months or greater is paid quarterly and may be re-deposited to the certificate of deposit, mailed by check, or deposited to another Garden Plain State Bank account.
Garden Plain State Bank offers Traditional, Roth and Educational Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs). Any Certificate of Deposit with a term of one year or more may be invested into an IRA. We also accept transfers and rollovers from financial institutions or retirement accounts.
